So I had a little break from the internets to get my shit back together. Signed up for school, grants from work, etc. Got my health shit straightened out and the dread of another oil change on the horizon (I do my own oil changes, such a dude I am!).

So, with what little downtime I have left, I implore you, flist! Rec me some True Blood fic! I will read anything- slash, het, crack, bookfic, showfic, you name it. I wanna read it. Everything I find is like eleventy billion chapters long, and I don't have that kinda commitment in me at the moment- though I'm sure they're good fics.

So the stabbing in my right side & back has only intensified with time. I had a CT done. Normal. I got some painkillers and was told I was going to be put on Physical Therapy.

Wait, what?

Just like that?

What about my gallbladder? Maybe my appendix?

I know that since its not kidney stones, it doesn't mean its not something else.

Anyway, I just got off the phone with my doctor's office, BEGGING anyone who would listen to schedule me an ultrasound.

The earliest they said they will even be able to get back to me will be tomorrow afternoon.

I can't work in this kind of pain. I help old people stand up so they can get to the bathroom. Can you imagine if I drop one? FUCK THAT. Also, every nigiht, at least TWICE, I wake up SCREAMING in pain. That's right. I scream in my sleep out of sheer pain and THAT is what wakes me up.

It's clear that something is horrendously wrong with me, and its ALSO clear that my doctor wants to write it off as me needing physical therapy.

Now, no offense to any physical therapists (I have several friends who are PTs), but I feel like anytime a doctor doesn't feel like exploring symptoms any further, he chalks it up to "Oh, you just need PT.".

I haven't DONE anything to warrant NEEDING PT.

SO.

Now I'm full of Painkillers, I'm pissed off, and I'm on my way to the ER. And God help the poor motherfucker that doesn't get me an Ultrasound.
